Welcome back for another exciting summer of baseball on Cape Cod. The 2013 Chatham Anglers season is almost upon us and we are thrilled to be able to provide you with extensive coverage throughout the season.
As the media directors and play-by-play broadcasters for the Anglers, we would like to be the first to officially welcome you to the start of another great season of baseball in Chatham. A quick introduction to us: Brandon Liebhaber is a junior at Northwestern University where he studies journalism and history. This is Brandons second season in the Chatham press box. He is joined this year by newcomer Keith Zubrow, a sophomore at Syracuse University studying Broadcast & Digital Journalism and Management. We will be joined on the media team by our web reporter Chris Jones, a freshman at University of Oregon and Chelsea Capwell, a junior at Centenary College.
We are excited to bring you every pitch of the 2013 season. As always you can hear all 44 regular season games through TRZ Teamline. Listen by telephone by calling 1-800-846-4700, code 3841, or listen online at Broadcast Central on ChathamAnglers.com. All broadcasts are provided for free, including a video stream for all home games. All broadcasts (home and away) begin 20 minutes prior to the game's first pitch with the Anglers Extra Pregame Show featuring The Manager's Show with John Schiffner and The Catch of the Day player interviews. Following the game is the The Anglers Extra Postgame Show with audio highlights, live interviews and post-game analysis.
We will also be providing extensive coverage of the 2013 Anglers through our website and social media.
Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube.
Remember to like the team on Facebook and follow them on Twitter to track all of the latest from the Anglers. As always, we will be posting photos from every game on Flickr and all video content on YouTube.
New in 2013, all broadcast audio will be available in a new, user-friendly format through SoundCloud. Enjoy easy access to the latest (and archived) interviews, highlights, features and entire game broadcasts on (1) the Chatham Anglers SoundCloud page, (2) near the top of our Broadcast Central page and (3) on the lower right side of our home page. Also look for the latest uploads on Twitter, Facebook and within the latest news articles. Click below for a special audio clip from the archives, featuring highlights from 2003, the first season of the Cape Cod Baseball Network.
When visiting Veterans Field this summer pick up the annual team program and our daily stat sheet.
We look forward to being your eyes and ears this season from the first pitch of the regular season to the final out of the postseason. We invite all our listeners to contact us online at ChathamBroadcast@gmail.com to ask questions, offer tips, or even just to say hello.
