CHATHAM, Mass. — The Chatham Anglers will face the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox in the Cape League's East Division Series, which begins Tuesday. The best-of-three series is part of the first round of the 2026 Cape Cod Baseball League Playoffs.

Game 1 is set for 4 p.m. Tuesday at Y-D's Red Wilson Field. The teams will play Game 2 at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Field in Chatham. A decisive Game 3 — if necessary — would be played at 4 p.m. Thursday at Red Wilson Field.

The A's enter the series having won eight of their last nine games. They finished 19-18-3 and are the 4-seed in the East Division.

Y-D, which went wire-to-wire in first place in the East, won the President's Trophy for the Cape League's best record at 28-11-1. Their 57 points are a Cape League record for a 40-game season.

Chatham and Yarmouth-Dennis split their five-game regular season series 2-2-1. They played the final game of the regular season, a 4-1 Chatham win at Red Wilson Field.
