CHATHAM, Mass. — The Chatham Athletic Association announced additions to the 2026 Chatham Anglers Media Team Monday.
Mauricio Palmar and Harris Pemberton, students at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, will serve as Chatham’s beat writers for the 2026 Cape Cod Baseball League season.
"We are excited for Mauricio's return and to welcome Harris to the Anglers family,” CAA Media Consultant Dan D'Uva said. "Their experience at The Daily Orange has prepared them with a professional mindset and a penchant for meaningful storytelling."
Palmar and Pemberton will write stories for Chatham’s website, report news on the club’s social media platforms and shape other team publications. Their content will include opponent previews and game stories for each Anglers matchup along with feature stories throughout the season.
"Mauricio and Harris are bright, innovative journalists who will continue our tradition of excellent reporting,” D'Uva said. "I am excited to see where their passion and curiosity take them this summer as they further develop their skill in the arts of expression. Through their writing, Anglers fans will be transported, informed and entertained."
Palmar and Pemberton join broadcasters Chase Abrams and Jake Klein on Chatham’s 2026 in the Veterans Field press box. The Anglers visit Bourne to open the season on Saturday, June 13.
