The Cape Cod Baseball League has revealed the 2026 Chatham Anglers schedule. The Anglers open the season under second-year manager Dennis Cook on June 13 at Bourne. They then play the summer’s first game at Veterans Field against Cotuit on June 14.
This is the third season of the CCBL’s 40-game schedule, split by 20 home and away games. The Anglers will play five contests against East Division foes, only traveling to Harwich and Yarmouth-Dennis twice. Chatham also hosts Brewster and rival Orleans just twice.

Opening night pits Chatham against defending CCBL champion Bourne at Doran Park. The A’s also renew an Independence Day tradition with a home-and-home series against Orleans. Chatham visits Eldredge Park on July 3 before the Firebirds make a return trip to Veterans Field on Fourth of July. Chatham took last year’s Independence Day meeting 7-5.
The 2026 CCBL All-Star break is scheduled for July 18-29, with the League’s All-Star Game set to take place on Saturday, July 18 at Harwich’s Whitehouse Field. The A’s play 12 games after the All-Star break to finish the regular season, beginning with a home meeting with Hyannis on July 20. Chatham ends the regular season slate at Yarmouth-Dennis on Aug. 2.
After a league-wide off day on Aug. 3, the CCBL Playoffs commence on Aug. 4 and last through Aug. 12 at the latest. The league returns to a postseason format featuring three rounds of best-of-three series. Chatham last qualified for the postseason in 2024, its first appearance since 2019, but lost 7-5 to Harwich in the one-game East Division wild card round.
