CHATHAM, Mass. — Additions to the 2025 Anglers Media Team were announced by the Chatham Athletic Association Thursday. Beckett Calkins, Ella Tovey and Luke Herndon will lead Chatham's visual team.
Calkins will enter a graduate year at Quinnipiac University, while Tovey is a rising senior at Syracuse University and Herndon is a rising senior at The College of William & Mary.
Calkins takes charge of production and direction of the live video broadcasts of Chatham’s 20 home games. Tovey, who returns for her second summer with the Anglers, will again be responsible for all photographs used for Chatham's programming, website and social media platforms. Herndon will produce video content for the broadcast including pre- and post-game interviews, plus highlights and video features.
"Beckett, Ella and Luke bring impressive experience and creative skill sets to our team," CAA Media Consultant Dan D'Uva said. "They are versatile, passionate storytellers well-equipped to drive innovation and immerse fans in the Chatham experience. We're particularly pleased to have Ella back for another summer of her excellent photography."
Calkins, Tovey and Herndon join broadcasters Jake Klein and Hudson Ridley along with beat writers Cooper Andrews and Mauricio Palmar on Chatham's 2025 Media Team. The Anglers begin their season on June 14 against Falmouth at Veterans Field.
Beckett Calkins - Producer | Quinnipiac University

A rising graduate student at Quinnipiac University, Calkins enters his first summer in Chatham as producer. In 2024, he worked as a communications and media intern for the Westfield Starfires of the Futures League. At Quinnipiac, Calkins served as the broadcast manager for QBSN, the school's sports radio network. He is also a beat reporter for the men’s soccer, men’s basketball and baseball teams at Quinnipiac for its student-run TV station, Q30 Television.
Ella Tovey - Photographer | Syracuse University

Tovey, from Chicago, Illinois, is a rising senior at Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts. She enters her second year with Chatham after also serving as the team’s photographer in 2024. At SU, Tovey is a photography intern for SU Athletics, photographing a variety of sports such as basketball, softball, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, and more. In her spare time, Tovey is an avid reader of fiction, including books by author Julia Seales. She also enjoys going on long runs around her neighborhood. Tovey's favorite movie is The Graduate, starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft.
Luke Herndon - Videographer | William & Mary

Herndon, a rising senior at William & Mary, joins the Anglers for his first season with Chatham. At school, he works as a creative content intern with Tribe Athletics and serves as the exposition video editor for The FlatHat, the college’s student-run newspaper. In the past, Herndon has also contributed to the Provincetown Film Festival and the Ampersand Film Festival in various production roles.
