The Chatham Anglers and Orleans Firebirds were rained out Tuesday night.
Severe thunder and lightning meant that no baseball was possible at Veterans Field. The storm rolled through around 7 p.m., giving the fans who turned out for the last home game of the season an electric show to remember. Huge bolts of lightning zig-zagged across the sky.
The game will be replayed Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Veterans Field. The second half of the season-ending double-header with rival Orleans will begin at Orleans at 7 p.m.
