MANAGER’S MESSAGE 2026

IT’S AN HONOR AND PRIVILEGE to be returning for a second season to manage the
Chatham Anglers. During my previous five years in Chatham (four as an assistant coach)
I’ve come to recognize and appreciate the Chatham fans, traditions, and hard-working
volunteers who make Veterans Field a magical place to attend a baseball game on a summer
evening. Chatham truly is a special place!

I entered coaching because I love the game of baseball and can use the experiences I
learned over the years playing and coaching the game to teach and help kids reach their full
potential as players and human
beings. Coaching in the Cape
League, where the best college
baseball is played each summer,
gives our coaching staff and I the opportunity to help enhance the talents
of the next generation of professional baseball players.

My wife Tammy and our extended family look forward to spending another
summer enjoying, and becoming even more fond of, the beautiful town of
Chatham.
