CHASE ABRAMS BROADCASTER | UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND
Abrams, a sophomore in the Harrington School of Communications and Media at the University of Rhode Island, makes his Chatham broadcasting debut
this summer. He serves as a sports director at WRIU 90.3 FM, URI’s student radio station, and broadcasts Rhode Island athletics events over the radio as
well as on ESPN+.

JAKE KLEIN BROADCASTER | SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
A rising senior at Syracuse University, Klein enters his second season as a Chatham broadcaster. He served as a media team assistant and producer
from 2021-23. In 2024, Klein called games for the Worcester Bravehearts of the Futures League and was named the league’s broadcaster of the year. At
Syracuse, he’s assistant sports director at WAER-FM, a campus radio station, and an on-air talent at WJPZ-FM and CitrusTV.

MAURICIO PALMAR WRITER | SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
Palmar, a rising junior at Syracuse University, enters his second summer as an Anglers beat writer. A native of Annapolis, Maryland, he profiled Anglers
manager Dennis Cook, Tennessee outfielder Henry Ford and Georgia catcher Daniel Jackson in his role with the A’s last summer. He spent two semesters
as an assistant sports editor at The Daily Orange, Syracuse’s student-run newspaper, covering women’s basketball and men’s lacrosse.

HARRIS PEMBERTON WRITER | SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
Pemberton, a native of Austin, Texas, enters his first season with Chatham. Pemberton is a rising junior studying Magazine, News and Digital Journalism
at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He most recently served as an assistant sports editor at The Daily Orange
for two semesters, covering men’s soccer, women’s basketball and women’s lacrosse.

BEN CORBITT PRODUCER | SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
An incoming freshman at Syracuse University, Corbitt enters his first summer with the Chatham Anglers as producer. In high school, he founded
Wolfpack Media, a student sports broadcasting organization for which he served as a play-by-play commentator for football, basketball and soccer.
He also served as a sports writer for the Spirit, Saint Ignatius’s student newspaper. Corbitt is also an accomplished chess player and volleyball athlete.

SOPHIA O’BRIEN VISUAL SPECIALIST | SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
A rising junior at Syracuse University, O’Brien enters her first summer in Chatham. She’s an on-air talent at Orange Television Network, Syracuse’s
television station; and student-run TV station CitrusTV. She serves as executive producer of OTN’s Think Tank and social media creator for Live from
Studio B. O’Brien spent six years as a host of NESN Clubhouse, New England Sports Networks children’s Red Sox show, earning four nominations and an
Emmy in 2019.

JAMES McTAGUE MEDIA TEAM ASSISTANT | MARIST UNIVERSITY
A rising sophomore at Marist University, McTague enters his second full season with Chatham. McTague is the full-time play-by-play voice of Marist
baseball on the Red Fox Network and a play-by-play broadcaster for Marist men’s and women’s basketball on campus radio station WMAR. Also an
accomplished choral singer, he has performed in various venues, including historic Carnegie Hall in New York City.
