CAA SCHOLARSHIP & LOCAL YOUTH SUPPORT
A primary mission of the Chatham Athletic Association is to support Chatham’s youth. Our Organization strongly supports this
mission and takes pride in our support for Chatham’s youth. Our support over recent years has included the following items:
• Provided over $20,000 in college scholarship funding in the past decade.
• Contribute annually to the Monomoy HS All-Sports Booster Club.
• Provide Scholarships for kids from economically challenged Chatham families to attend our Angler summer youth baseball clinic.
• Send Angler players annually to the Chatham elementary and Monomoy regional middle schools to interact with students.
• Recognize lower Cape little league members on field prior to an Anglers game.
• Provide Angler ‘gift package’ auction items for charity fundraiser events (e.g. ‘Tools of the Trade’, Larry’s PX employee benefit, Lower Cape Outreach Council,
Fisherman’s Alliance Hooker’s Ball, Chatham Historical Society)
• Annually donate food and clothing items to the Chatham community center and to Monomoy Community Services.
• Using Monomoy Regional HS students as Angler Organization interns.
