he has handled for 20+ years. Dan and high school classmate Guy Benson became the Cape League’s first play-by-play duo in 2003. Dan has received
several broadcasting awards, including the Marty Glickman Award for excellence in play-by-play.
BOB SHERMAN | MEDIA CONSULTANT & TEAM HISTORIAN
Bob is our Board’s Senior Vice President. He has wide ranging responsibilities that include helping Dan with the media team and being integrally in-
volved with historical Angler and League statistical data. Bob and wife Martha have helped our organization in numerous capacities for three decades.
Bob is also an Executive Committee member on the Cape Cod Baseball League Board of Directors.
PETER BURNS | PUBLIC ADDRESS VOICE OF THE ANGLERS
Peter will be returning for another season as the “voice of the Anglers”. We may be biased, but Peter is the premier public address announcer in the Cape
League. His ability to interact with, and energize, the crowd helps make an Angler game special. Peter is a Connecticut native who when not entertain-
ing Anglers fans is a political science professor at Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo, CA.
