Postcard from Chatham Broadcasters
Greetings, Chatham Anglers fans!

As the play-by-play broadcasters for the Chatham Anglers, we would like to be among the first to welcome you to Veterans Field for the 2012 season. It's a year of milestones for the ball club. Manager John Schiffner returns for his 20th season at the helm of the program, it's the Chatham Athletic Association's 50th season, and the town itself celebrates its tricentennial.

A quick introduction to the two of us: Brandon Liebhaber studies at Northwestern University where he is a rising junior and the co-sports-director at the Northwestern News Network. This season marks Brandon's first year as a member of the Anglers media team. Chris Fitzgerald embarks on his second summer as a Chatham Anglers broadcaster. During the academic year, Chris studies at the University of Oregon, where he is a rising senior with a hand in broadcasting for multiple media outlets. Our media team also includes a digital media manager (Graham Harboe, a rising sophomore at Yale) and a beat writer (George Barclay, a rising senior at Vanderbilt) who will aid in the comprehensive coverage of Anglers baseball throughout the summer.

As broadcasters, it is our pleasure to bring you each and every pitch this season with live play-by-play through TRZ Teamline. Listen by telephone by calling 1-800-846-4700, code 3841, or listen online at Broadcast Central on ChathamAnglers.com. All broadcasts are provided free to the listener, including a video stream for all home games. All broadcasts (home and away) begin 20 minutes prior to the game's first pitch with the Anglers Extra Pregame Show featuring The Manager's Show with John Schiffner and The Catch of the Day player interviews. The Anglers Extra Postgame Show includes game highlights, live interviews and analysis.

We're proud to offer a variety of multi-media options to help you stay close with the 2012 Anglers. Beyond the live broadcasts, find interviews, articles, photographs and more on ChathamAnglers.com and across our social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube. Remember to Like and Follow the team on Facebook and Twitter, and tell your friends about how to follow the team on the air and online. When visiting Veterans Field this summer pick up the annual team program featuring the 2012 commemorative logo and don't miss our newly redesigned stat sheets with more content than ever before.

As broadcasters, we realize that the opportunity to broadcast in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League is a special privilege. We look forward to being your eyes and ears this season from the first pitch of the regular season to the final out of the postseason. We invite all our listeners to contact us online at ChathamBroadcast@gmail.com to ask questions, offer tips, or even just to say hello. It's fun for us to hear from you, so please do not hesitate to contact us and visit the booth when you attend a game. Thanks again and go Anglers!

Sincerely,
Chris Fitzgerald and Brandon Liebhaber
