The 2005 Cape Cod Baseball Leauge Postseason begins Tuesday, August 8th. The top two teams from each division battle for the Divisional Championship, with the winners contending for the Cape League title. Each series is the best 2 out of 3.

In the West, the first place Bourne Braves will take on the Cotuit Kettleers who did not clinch a playoff spot until the regular season's final game.

The best two records in the league belong to East Division rivals Orleans and Chatham. The Cardinals defeated the A's in the season finale 3-2 to clinch first place and home field advantage in the playoffs. Game 1 will be held at Eldredge Park in Orleans at 7:00.
