Manager Tom Holliday said the Anglers need to win at least five out of six games this week to get back on track after Tuesday's 5-5 tie against Wareham. The Anglers face Hyannis for the third time this season tonight.

Probable Pitchers

Trevor Martin (Oklahoma State) will take the mound for the Anglers. He last pitched against the Red Sox, allowing four runs in one inning. Martin pitched in 19.1 innings for Chatham last season, striking out 27 batters.

Jackson Baumeister will start for Hyannis, making his fifth appearance for the team this year. He's posted a 3.46 ERA, striking out 14 batters in 13.2 innings. Baumeister allowed four hits in most recent appearance against Bourne.

Chatham Players to Watch

Manager Tom Holliday said Cooper Ingle (Clemson) has been the most reliable player to get on-base for the Anglers, and that he's had the maturity to already understand what to do in the designated hitter role even though he's not '35-years-old.' He brought Marcus Brown (Oklahoma State) home with a sacrifice bunt against Wareham.

Hayden Travinski (LSU) notches a solo home run against the Gatemen, improving his average to .194 on the season. He had a season-best two hits in his first game with Chatham, a 7-2 win over Brewster.

Hyannis Players to Watch

Rikuu Nishida has a .271 batting average this season, scoring 10 runs with 19 hits. The sophomore from Mt. Hood Community College leads the team in appearances with 27. He's transferring to the University of Oregon next season.

Mitch Jebb leads the Harbor Hawks' offense with a .288 batting average. He's notched 23 hits, striking out 16 times this season. Jebb recorded 46 RBIs and six home runs at Michigan State this year.

Stat to Know ' 13.8

Through 135 regular season games this season, the Cape Cod Baseball League has a 13.8% tie rate, an increase of almost four percent from last season. After Tuesday's tie against Wareham, the Anglers now lead the league with seven ties, including one in their last matchup against Hyannis.

Last Time They Played

The Anglers lost the first matchup in a doubleheader at Hyannis before tying 4-4 in the latter. Johnny Castagnozzi had a solo home run in the final inning of the game to close the gap against the Harbor Hawks.

'It felt good, but I've hit two so far that went to the warning track and I was like, 'Oh, that's got a chance,' and they didn't go,' Castagnozzi said.

Chatham led 3-1 in the bottom of the sixth when Magnus Ellerts took to the mound. Ellerts' command was off from the start. He walked the first batter he faced before sending two wild pitches past Travinski, bringing in two runs and tying the game at 3-3.
