Anglers host Hyannis in fourth consecutive home game Tuesday

Chatham, Mass. — The Anglers (4-1) will host the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (2-2-1) at Veterans Field tonight.

Last night, Chatham recovered from an early deficit to top the Cotuit Kettleers (4-1) 8-4. Left fielder Bobby Brennan (Palm Beach Atlantic) and third baseman Jake Palomaki (Boston College) each recorded a pair of RBIs, while right fielder Jacob Olson (South Carolina) hit his second home run of the season in the victory.

Right-handed pitcher Adam Hill (South Carolina) will take the mound for Chatham. Hill had a successful sophomore season with the Gamecocks, throwing 87 strikeouts over 77.0 innings. He finished 2017 with an ERA of 3.04 in 14 games started.

Ryan Weiss (Wright State) will start for the Harbor Hawks. Weiss posted a 2.13 ERA in his redshirt freshman season, throwing 80 strikeouts over 88.2 innings.

Last night, the Harbor Hawks bested the Wareham Gatemen (2-4) 6-2, after splitting a doubleheader with a tie 0-0 and a loss 0-6 against the Harwich Mariners (2-3-1) Sunday.

Hyannis swept Chatham in all four of last season’s contests, following a 2-2 showing in 2015. The Harbor Hawks have earned three Cape League titles in program history, winning the championship most recently in 1991.

The game marks the fourth consecutive home contest for Chatham. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Listen to the live broadcast here: http://bit.ly/ChathamBroadcasts
