The Chatham Athletic Association is looking for host families for the 2017 summer.  The Cape Cod Baseball League is the premier NCAA summer collegiate baseball league, and in 2017 the Chatham Anglers will field some of the best college players from universities across the country.

The team is in need of a few extra host families for these fine young men.  There are opportunities to host for the entire 10 week season, for June only, or for just July 21st through the playoffs.  Get to know the players, make special memories and lifetime friends (players and parents too), and also help Chatham continue to field a great team.

• You are reimbursed $75/week per player

• You do not need to feed them (the team provides after-game dinners, players are responsible for their other meals) or to do laundry!

• They only need their own room and access to a shower.  You can have two players in a room, and sometimes it’s more comfortable for players to be with a teammate.

• They keep busy! A typical schedule is morning work for the team, then to the gym, lunch and rest, play ball 3 pm – 10.30 pm.  They usually have 6 games a week.

• You receive special recognition, with a “Meet the Players” luncheon and a “Host Family Night at the Field”, plus special souvenirs, a team photo, autographed ball and more!

Please consider opening your hearts and homes to this great experience. Dozens of Anglers have gone on to illustrious careers in the major leagues.  You could host the next Kris Bryant, Evan Longoria, Jeff Bagwell or Thurman Munson, all former Chatham Anglers!
