15 Chatham players on 2022 roster make NCAA Tournament

On Monday afternoon the NCAA announced the 64 teams that will play in the 2022 Division I Baseball Championship, and 15 current permanent and temporary Chatham Anglers players will take part. Eleven different teams will showcase an Angler player, including nine players on teams that earned a top seed.

The regional portion of the tournament will begin Friday, and the opening game of the College World Series will take place June 17 — five days after Chatham’s season opener against Cotuit — and conclude in late June, meaning some Anglers players could miss the opening stretch of games as they finish their college seasons.
