The images from week five reflect Chatham’s unexpected managerial change, three consecutive fog-outs at Veterans Field and some more shots of the Anglers in action.
Amid the unwavering haze, Chatham obtained its first shutout victory since June 13 but suffered two narrow road losses at Harwich and Bourne. On July 11, after five years at the helm, A’s skipper Tom Holliday resigned, citing personal health reasons. Assistant coach Marty Lees took his place. A consistency that remained were the cheery smiles captured around the ballpark.
