Letter from the Booth
For the 100th season, the sun sets on America’s most picturesque baseball landscape. Chatham baseball returns to Veterans Field, and we are thrilled to bring the centennial season to you.
We are your broadcasters, Joe Puccio and Andrew Selover. For 44 regular season nights this summer, and potentially postseason baseball, we will talk to you from various ballparks around Cape Cod to bring you Anglers baseball.
The first time you will hear us is at 5 p.m. today when Chatham travels to Cotuit. The Anglers Extra pregame show begins our broadcast 20 minutes before first pitch every contest. It's accessible online and on the telephone for free through TRZ Teamline. Click here to stream the broadcast on your computer or smart device. Our radio experience can be found by calling 1-800-846-4700. When prompted, enter code 3841.
Our Anglers Extra pregame show features interviews with Tom Holliday on The Manager's Show and an Anglers player on Catch of the Day. Those chats lead us into game time. We will have every inning, rain delay and fog delay throughout the season. After the game, stick around for the Anglers Extra postgame show, complete with interviews and highlights. Home games at Veterans Field start at 7 p.m. If you stop by Veterans Field, come up the press box stairs and say hello. We are eager to meet you.
As you enjoy our live broadcasts, follow the Anglers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Our writers Graham Dietz and Tyler Schiff will update you on social media and post articles on ChathamAnglers.com, including game stories, previews and feature pieces. Producer Jake Klein will oversee our broadcasts' audio and visual aspects and create the graphics you’ll see on social media.
Our videographer Ayden Robinson will bring doses of the Chatham experience to your fingertips. Her work will be featured on YouTube and our social media outlets. Game days at Veterans Field can be watched wherever you are with innovative viewpoints from multiple cameras. Similarly to last season, our TikTok page brings a new spin to our traditional video formats.
The photographs you see online and on social media are taken by our photographer Emma Connelly. You can find albums of her work on our Flickr page. Flickr is a photography website that organizes albums for each Chatham game and event. Sift through Flickr and download your favorite photos for your non-commercial use.
When you attend a game at Veterans Field, grab a scorecard, ask for a stat sheet, and say hello to the volunteers who make the Chatham experience worthwhile.
