When Chatham faces Falmouth on Tuesday night, it will be the first instance this season that the Anglers see an opponent for a second time, aside from their doubleheader with Wareham on Monday.

Chatham (3-3-1) lost a road matchup with Falmouth (2-6-0) earlier in the season but now faces the Commodores at Veterans Field. The Anglers also have the momentum of Monday's doubleheader sweep of Wareham on their side.

Probable Pitchers

Will Carsten will start for the Anglers. The right-hander pitched 3.2 scoreless innings in Chatham's 1-1 tie with Hyannis, allowing two hits and walking two.

Ben Hamptonis expected to follow Carsten out of the bullpen. The lefty allowed one run over four innings in his start against Hyannis ' his only appearance of the season.

Josh Hartle will make his season debut for Falmouth. The freshman recorded a 5.30 ERA in 69.2 innings with Wake Forest. A southpaw, Hartle will present a challenge to a typically left-handed-heavy Chatham lineup.

Chatham Players to Watch

Jake DeLeo has made an instant impact since his first appearance Saturday. DeLeo is 4 for 6 in three games and hit Chatham's first home run of the season Monday ' a grand slam that was the difference in the first game of the doubleheader against Wareham.

Matt Hogan has stayed hot after a quick start. The outfielder and second-year Angler is 5 for 11 with three runs and two walks. The only game in which Hogan has recorded an at-bat and not a hit was against Falmouth, when he was 0 for 1 with a walk and a run.

Falmouth Players to Watch

Brayden Taylor paces Falmouth with two home runs and is one of six players in the league with multiple long balls on his resume. Taylor went 1 for 2 with three walks, a run and an RBI in Falmouth's first game with Chatham.

Anthony Mackenzie leads Falmouth in RBIs and has caught fire over the past three games, going 3 for 7 with a walk, double and home run. Mackenzie did not play in the first matchup between the Anglers and Commodores.

At .992, Chatham holds the best fielding percentage in the league entering Tuesday. The Anglers have made a league-low two errors this season, although they've played seven games while most teams have played eight. Marcus Brown has anchored shortstop since his arrival, and Guy Garibay Jr. and Matt Hogan have made highlight-reel catches in the outfield.

Last Time They Played

Chatham narrowly lost 5-4 to Falmouth on Thursday. The Commodores pounced on Anglers pitching, tagging starter Hayden Durke with four hits and three runs over 1.1 innings. Durke's outing was cut short after a line drive up the middle hit his throwing arm. Tommy Molsky followed Durke and allowed two runs on three hits over 1.2 innings.

Trailing 5-2 in the top of the seventh, Chatham rallied, scoring runs on Noah Ledford's bases-loaded hit-by-pitch and Adonys Herrera's RBI single, but the Anglers came up short.
