Chatham was shut out for the sixth time this season in a loss to the Orleans Firebirds on Saturday. The only run of the game came on a home run from Jordan Luplow (Fresno State) in the fourth inning.
The Anglers (26-16-1) had a hit in each of the first six innings, but was unable to score. Corey Miller (Pepperdine) picked up his fifth win for Orleans (23-19-1) with 5 shutout innings. Matt Troupe (Arizona) picked up his leage leading eleventh save for the Firebirds.
Chatham is back in action tomorrow night when they take on Orleans at Eldredge Park. First pitch is at 7 p.m.
