Terdoslavich Makes History
2009 outfielder and designated hitter Joey Terdoslavich (Long Beach State) etched his name in the Carolina League record books on Monday, September 5th, lacing a line-drive double to the wall in the first inning of the Lynchburg Hillcats' season finale versus the Winston-Salem Dash, his 52nd two-bagger, surpassing the previous record of 51 which had stood since 1946 when Woody Fair set the mark with the famed Durham Bulls.

Setting the record caps a tremendous breakout season for the second-year pro, who hit .286 (138-483) with the aforementioned 52 doubles, 20 home runs and 82 RBI over 131 games and was recently named the Atlanta Braves' 2011 organizational player of the year, as well as a Carolina League postseason All Star.

During his one year stint in Chatham, the nephew of former Red Sox left fielder Mike Greenwell batted .234 (26-111) with seven doubles and 14 RBI over 36 appearances for the Anglers.
