The Hyannis Harbor Hawks outscored the Anglers 9-3 over the course of Sunday's scheduled doubleheader, extending their Western Division-best record to 7-2, topping Chatham 5-1 in Game 1, and 4-2 in Game 2. Chad Gallagher (Marist) took the loss in Game One, allowing five runs on 12 hits through 4.2 innings in his second 2011 start.
Louisville hurler Dace Kime took the hill for the night cap, and allowed three runs (one earned) on four hits through his five innings of work, but picked up his first loss of the season.
Chatham falls to 3-6-1 on the season, and remains at the bottom of the Eastern Division standings. The team will have Monday off, before traveling to Yarmouth-Dennis for a 5 p.m. matchup with the Red Sox Tuesday. Stay tuned for a full recap..
