The Anglers begin defense of their East Division title June 11 at Eldredge Park in Orleans, the first of six matchups with the rival Firebirds. The A's play at home the following night, June 12, against Wareham.

Chatham takes on East Division teams (Brewster, Harwich, Orleans, Yarmouth-Dennis) six times each and West Division foes (Bourne, Cotuit, Falmouth, Hyannis, Wareham) four times each, splitting home and away evenly.

Chatham's home opener at Veterans Field is June 12.

All games at Chatham's Veterans Field begin at 7 p.m. with the exception of June 15 when the Anglers face the defending CCBL champion Cotuit Kettleers in a double header beginning at 4 p.m. Chatham also has a road double header June 22 at Wareham's Spillane Field at 4 p.m. All 10 CCBL teams play a double header on both dates, the first scheduled twin bills in the CCBL since the 2011 season. Double header games will be seven innings each.

Eleven league-wide off days are built into the 2014 calendar, plus one Aug. 4 to separate the regular season and playoffs.

The postseason format remains the same, with the top four teams from each division qualifying for postseason play. Each of the three postseason rounds are best of three games. Divisional playoffs begin Aug. 5 with the CCBL championship concluding no later than Aug. 13, barring postponements.

The 2014 East-West All-Star Game takes place 6 p.m. July 26 at Doran Park, home of the Bourne Braves.

Other key dates include the Chatham-Orleans Independence Day series. Chatham hosts Orleans July 3, a Wednesday, and travels to Eldredge Park on the Fourth of July to complete the annual home-and-home. Chatham concludes the regular season with two more matchups with Orleans, on the road Aug. 2 and at home for Game 44 Aug. 3.

Admission to all Chatham Anglers games at Veterans Field is free of charge. Donations are welcome.
