Anglers in the Majors
UPDATE: So far in the 2013 MLB season 40 Chatham Anglers have put on Big League uniforms.

Another season of Major League Baseball is underway and 24 Chatham alumni have earned a sport on an Opening Day roster. In addition, 14 former Anglers with major-league experience are active on affiliated minor league teams, six of those players are present on their parent club's 40-Man Roster. The 2005 Anglers are the best represented Chatham team with six players currently in the majors. Shawn Camp (37) for the second straight season is the oldest former Angler playing in the MLB. The Met's Matt Harvey is the youngest (24). Now in their twelfth season, the Cubs' David DeJesus and the Orioles' Brian Roberts are the longest tenured big league veterans who spent a summer in Chatham.

Check back in during the season as the list often changes. At any point, an opportunity could present itself for a former Angler to make a splash in the majors.
