On Monday afternoon the NCAA announced the 64 teams that will play in the 2022 Division I Baseball Championship, and 15 current permanent and temporary Chatham Anglers players will take part. The regional portion of the tournament will begin Friday, and the opening game of the College World Series will take place June 17 ' five days after Chatham's season opener against Cotuit ' and conclude in late June, meaning some Anglers players could miss the opening stretch of games as they finish their college seasons.
