Chatham has relied on a community of host families to provide housing to young ball players from around the country for decades.'' Host families play a critical role in allowing the Anglers to play summer baseball.' Put simply, the Chatham Anglers would not exist without the continued generosity of so many dedicated families.' We are immensely grateful for everything these families do.' Staying with a host family is an unforgettable experience for our young players. Players work their whole lives for the opportunity to play on the Cape, and the relationships they build with their host families often last a lifetime.

After appropriate discussion and consultation regarding Covid-19 safety, the CCBL is pleased to report that they intend to resume play in 2021!' As a result, the Anglers are putting out this call for prospective host families to 'step up to the plate' and contact us to host player(s) for the upcoming season.

Your commitment to hosting will help ensure that Chatham continues to be a part of the Cape Cod Baseball League, the best summer college baseball league in the country. '
